The strokes - Last nite (clica per veure la lletra)

Last night, she said:
"Oh, baby, I feel so down.
Oh it turns me off,
When I feel left out"

So I, I turned 'round:
"Oh baby, don't care no more,
I know this for sure,
I'm walkin' out that door"

Well, I've been in town for just 'bout fifteen oh minutes now
And Baby, I feel so down
And I don't know why!
I keep walkin' for miles

And people they don't understand
No, girlfriends, they can't understand
Your Grandsons, they won't understand
On top of this, I ain't ever gonna understand...

Last night, she said:
"Oh, baby, I feel so down.
Oh, it turns me off,
When I feel left out"

So I, I turned 'round:
"Oh, baby, gonna be alright"
It was a great big lie
'Cause I left that night, yeah

Oh, people they don't understand
No, girlfriends, they don't understand
In spaceships they won't understand
And me, I ain't ever gonna understand...

Last night, she said:
"Oh, baby, I feel so down.
See, it turns me off,
When I feel left out"

So I, I turned 'round:
"Oh, little girl, I don't care no more.
I know this for sure,
I'm walking out that door," yeah...

Friday night I'm going nowhere
All the lights are changing green to red
Turning over TV stations
Situations running through my head
Looking back through time
You know it's clear that I've been blind
I've been a fool
To open up my heart
To all that jealousy, that bitterness, that ridicule

Saturday I'm running wild
And all the lights are changing red to green
Moving through the crowds I'm pushing
Chemicals all rushing in my bloodstream
Only wish that you were here
You know I'm seeing it so clear
I've been afraid
To show you how I really feel
Admit to some of those bad mistakes I've made

If you want it
Come and get it
Crying out loud
The love that I was
Giving you was
Never in doubt
Let go of your heart
Let go of your head
And feel it now
Let go of your heart
Let go of your head
And feel it now

Babylon, Babylon, Babylon

Sunday all the lights of London
Shining , Sky is fading red to blue
I'm kicking through the Autumn leaves
And wondering where it is you might be going to
Turning back for home
You know I'm feeling so alone
I can't believe
Climbing on the stair
I turn around to see you smiling there
In front of me

If you want it
Come and get it
Crying out loud
The love that I was
Giving you was
Never in doubt
Let go of your heart
Let go of your head
And feel it now
Let go of your heart
Let go of your head
And feel it now
Let go of your heart
Let go of your head
And feel it now
Let go of your heart
Let go of your head
And feel it now

Babylon, Babylon, Babylon, Babylon, Babylon

A heart of stone, a smoking gun
I can give you life, I can take it away

A heart of stone, a smoking gun
I'm working it out
Why'd you feel so underrated?
Why'd you feel so negated?

Turning away from the light
Becoming adult
Turning into my soul
I wanted to bite not destroy
To feel her underneath
Turning into my soul

She don't think straight
She's got such a dirty mind and it never ever stops
And you don't taste like her and you never ever will
And we don't read the papers, we don't read the news
Heaven's never enough, we will never be fooled

And if you feel a little left behind
I will see you on the other side

Cos I'm on fire
I'm on fire when you come

I'm on fire so stub me out

Cutting crew - (I just) died in your arms

Cutting crew - (I just) died in your arms (clica per veure la lletra)

Oh I, I just died in your arms tonight
It must have been something you said
I just died in your arms tonight
I keep looking for something I can't get
Broken hearts lie all around me
And I don't see an easy way to get out of this
Her diary it sits on the bedside table
The curtains are closed, the cats in the cradle
Who would've thought that a boy like me could come to this
Oh I, I just died in your arms tonight
It must've been something you said
I just died in your arms tonight
Oh I, I just died in your arms tonight
It must've been some kind of kiss
I should've walked away
Is there any just cause for feeling like this?
On the surface I'm a name on a list
I try to be discreet, but then blow it again
I've lost and found, it's my final mistake
She's loving by proxy, no give and all take
'cos I've been thrilled to fantasy one too many times
Oh I, I just died in your arms...
It was a long hot night
She made it easy, she made it feel right
But now it's over the moment has gone
I followed my hands not my head, I know I was wrong
Oh I, I just died in your arms...

The police - Roxanne (clica per veure la lletra)

Roxanne, you don't have to put on the red light
Those days are over
You don't have to sell your body to the night
Roxanne, you don't have to wear that dress tonight
Walk the streets for money
You don't care if it's wrong or if it's right

Roxanne, you don't have to put on the red light
Roxanne, you don't have to put on the red light
Put on the red light, put on the red light
Put on the red light, put on the red light
Put on the red light, oh

I loved you since I knew ya
I wouldn't talk down to ya
I have to tell you just how I feel
I won't share you with another boy
I know my mind is made up
So put away your make up
Told you once I won't tell you again it's a bad way

Roxanne, you don't have to put on the red light
Roxanne, you don't have to put on the red light
You don't have to put on the red light
Put on the red light, put on the red light

I look at you all see the love there that's sleeping
While my guitar gently weeps
I look at the floor and I see it need sweeping
Still my guitar gently weeps

I don't know why nobody told you
how to unfold you love
I don't know how someone controlled you
they bought and sold you

I look at the world and I notice it's turning
While my guitar gently weeps
With every mistake we must surely be learning
Still my guitar gently weeps

I don't know how you were diverted
you were perverted too
I don't know how you were inverted
no one alerted you

I look at you all see the love there that's sleeping
While my guitar gently weeps
I look at you all
Still my guitar gently weeps

( I look from the wings at the play you are staging
While my guitar gently weeps
As I'm sitting here doing nothing but aging
Still my guitar gently weeps ) - from original harrison version

The drifters - Save the last dance for me (clica per veure la lletra)

You can dance ev'ry dance with the guy who gives you the eye, let him hold you tight
You can smile ev'ry smile for the man who held your hand 'neath the pale moonlight
But don't forget who's taking you home and in whose arms you're gonna be
So darlin', save the last dance for me mmmm

Oh, I know that the music's fine like sparkling wine go and have your fun
Laugh and sing but while we're apart don't give your heart to anyone
But don't forget who's taking you home and in whose arms you're gonna be
So darlin', save the last dance for me mmmm

Baby don't you know I love you so
Can't you feel it when we touch
I will never never let you go
I love you oh so much

You can dance go and carry on till the night is gone and it's time to go
If he asks if you're all alone can he take you home you must tell him no
'Cause don't forget who's taking you home and in whose arm's you're gonna be
So darlin save the last dance for me

'Cause don't forget who's taking you home and in whose arm's your gonna be
So darlin save the last dance for me mmmm

Save the last dance for me mmmm

Save the last dance for me

Ah, quella voce
M'e qui nel cor discesa!...
Edgardo! lo ti son reas;
Edgardo! Ah! Edgardo mio!
Si, ti son resa!
Fuggita io son da' tuoi nemici...
Un gelo mi serpeggia nel sen!...
Trema ogni fibra!...
Vacilla it pie!...

ludique
Mais en pensant à Lili Brik
Et Vladimir Maïakovsky
Et leurs sourires à peine éteints
Et les cent-vingt croix de leurs mains
Leurs mains qui glissaient sur leurs skins
Se perdaient sur la moleskine

Ils s'aimaient à l'arrière des taxis
Ils s'aimaient à l'arrière des taxis

Tant que les heures passent
Tant que les heures passent

You need it oh so bad

Adrenaline starts to flow
You're thrashing all around
Acting like a maniac

Bang your head against the stage
Like you never did before
Make it ring Make it bleed
Make it really sore
In a frenzied madness
with your leather and your spikes
Heads are bobbing all around
It's hot as Hell tonight

Adrenaline starts to flow
You're thrashing all around
Acting like a maniac
Whiplash

Here on the stage the Marshall noise
is piercing through your ears
It kicks your ass kick your face
Exploding feeling nears
Now is the time to let it rip
To let it fuckin' loose
We are gathered here to maim and kill
Cause this is what we choose

Adrenaline starts to flow
You're thrashing all around
Acting like a maniac

Matchbox Twenty - How far we've come

Matchbox Twenty - How far we've come (clica per veure la lletra)

Waking up at the start of the end of the world,
But its feeling just like every morning before,
Now I wonder what my life is going to mean if its gone,
The cars are moving like a half a mile an hour if that
I started staring at the passengers waving goodbye
Can you tell me what was ever really special about me all this time

[chorus]
But I believe the world is burning to the ground
Oh well I guess we're gonna find out
Let's see how far we've come
Let's see how far we've come

Well I, believe, its all, coming to an end
Oh well, I guess, we're gonna pretend,
Let's see how far we've come
Let's see how far we've come

I think its turning to a crock but I don't really know
I can't remember caring for an hour or so
Started crying and I couldn't stop myself
I started running but there was no where to run to
I sat down on the street and took a look at myself
Said where you going you know the world is heading for hell
Say your goodbyes if you've got someone you can say goodbye to

[chorus]
I believe the world is burning to the ground
Oh well I guess we're gonna find out
Let's see how far we've come
Let's see how far we've come

Well I, believe, its all, coming to an end
Oh well, I guess, we're gonna pretend,
Let's see how far we've come
Let's see how far we've come

Its gone gone baby its all gone
There is no one on the corner and there's no one at home
It was cool cool, it was just all cool
Now it's over for me and it's over for you
Well its gone gone baby its all gone
There is no one on the corner and there's no one at home
Well it was cool cool, it was just all cool
Now it's over for me and it's over for you

[chorus]
But I believe the world is burning to the ground
Oh well I guess we're gonna find out
Let's see how far we've come
Let's see how far we've come
Well I, believe, its all, coming to an end
Oh well, I guess, we're gonna pretend,
Let's see how far we've come
Let's see how far we've come
Let's see how far we've come
Let's see how far we've come
Let's see how far we've come
Let's see how far we've come
Let's see how far we've come
Let's see how far we've come

Franz Ferdinand - Take me out

Què us han dut els reis? A mi forces coses, no em puc queixar...

Franz Ferdinand - Take me out (clica per veure la lletra)

So if you're lonely
You know I'm here waiting for you
I'm just a cross-hair
I'm just a shot away from you
And if you leave here
You leave me broken
shattered I lie
I'm just a cross-hair
I'm just a shotten we can die
I know I won't be leaving here
With you

I say don't you know
You say you don't know
I say... take me out

I say you don't show
Don't move time is slow
I say... take me out

I say you don't know
You say you don't go
I say... take me out

If I move, this could die
If eyes move this can die
I want you... to take me out

I know I won't be leaving here
(With you)
I know I won't be leaving here
(With you)
I know I won't be leaving here
(With you)
I know I won't be leaving here
With you

I say, don't you know
You say you don't know
I say... take me out

If I wait this could die
If I wane this could die
I want you to take me out

If I move, this could die
If eyes move this can die
Come on... Take me out

I know I won't be leaving here
(With you)
I know I won't be leaving here
(With you)
I know I won't be leaving here
(With you)
I know I won't be leaving here
With you

Leann Rimes - Can't fight the moonlight (clica per veure la lletra)

Under a lovers' sky
Gonna be with you
And noone's gonna be around
If you think that you won't fall
Well just wait until
Til the sun goes down

Underneath the starlight - starlight
There's a magical feeling - so right
It'll steal your heart tonight

You can try to resist
Try to hide from my kiss
But you know
But you know that you can't fight the moonlight
Deep in the dark
You'll surrender your heart
But you know
But you know that you can't fight the moonlight
No, you can't fight it
It's gonna get to your heart

There's no escape from love
Once a gentle breeze
Weaves it's spell upon your heart
No matter what you think
It won't be too long
Til your in my arms
Underneath the starlight - starlight
We'll be lost in the rhythm - so right
Feel it steal your heart tonight

You can try to resist
Try to hide from my kiss
But you know
But you know that you can't fight the moonlight
Deep in the dark
You'll surrender your heart
But you know
But you know that you can't fight the moonlight
No you can't fight it
No matter what you do
The night is gonna get to you

Don't try then
You're never gonna win

Underneath the starlight - starlight
There's a magical feeling - so right
It will steal your heart tonight

You can try to resist
Try to hide from my kiss
But you know
But you know that you can't fight the moonlight
Deep in the dark
You'll surrender your heart
But you know
But you know that you can't fight the moonlight
No, you can't fight it

You can try to resist
Try to hide from my kiss
But you know
Don't you know that you can't fight the moonlight
Deep in the dark
You'll surrender your heart
But you know
But you know that you can't fight the moonlight
No, you can't fight it
It's gonna get to your heart

present,
perquè el silenci fa més densos
els records, i més íntim el temps
que ens és donat per viure'ls.
A ulls clucs et veuré: tot serà tu
Després passaran anys i esdevindràs
translúcida
i a través teu estimaré el futur

Kings of convenience - Homesick

Kings of convenience - Homesick (clica per veure la lletra)

I lose some sales
and my boss won't be happy
but I can't stop listening to the sound
of two soft voices blended in perfection
from the reels of this record that I found

every day there's a boy in the mirror
asking me
what are you doing here
finding all my previous motives
growing increasingly unclear

I travelled far and I burned all the bridges
I belived as SOON as I hit land
all the other
options held before me
WILL wither in the light of my plan

so I lose some sales
and my boss won't be happy
but there's only one thing on my mind
searching boxes underneath the counter
on a chance that on a tape I'd find

a song for
someone who needs somewhere
to long for

homesick
cause I no longer know
where home is

Buffalo Springfield - For what it's worth

Buffalo Springfield - For what it's worth (clica per veure la lletra)

There's something happening here
What it is ain't exactly clear
There's a man with a gun over there
Telling me I got to beware
I think it's time we stop, children, what's that sound
Everybody look what's going down
There's battle lines being drawn
Nobody's right if everybody's wrong
Young people speaking their minds
Getting so much resistance from behind
I think it's time we stop, hey, what's that sound
Everybody look what's going down
What a field-day for the heat
A thousand people in the street
Singing songs and carrying signs
Mostly say, hooray for our side
It's time we stop, hey, what's that sound
Everybody look what's going down
Paranoia strikes deep
Into your life it will creep
It starts when you're always afraid
You step out of line, the man come and take you away
We better stop, hey, what's that sound
Everybody look what's going down
Stop, hey, what's that sound
Everybody look what's going down
Stop, now, what's that sound
Everybody look what's going down
Stop, children, what's that sound
Everybody look what's going down
